🚨 Crime Prevention Advice🚨 💬 This week we are sharing advice on preventing car and vehicle theft, specifically incidents involving Relay devices.
Luxury car theft is on the rise in the West Midlands. It takes less than 60 seconds for thieves to take your car from your driveway.
If your car has Keyless Entry and Start (PKES), it can be stolen by ‘Relay Attack’
Stop this happening by layering up your security:

If your vehicle is stolen, never put yourself at risk. Call police immediately on 999 if you see it being stolen, or if you discover it has gone you can report it to us online or call 101.

If you have a keyless vehicle, please do not hesitate to contact Bloxwich Neighbourhood Team as we may be able to help you in obtaining a Faraday Pouch which makes it harder for criminals from taking your vehicle. Please contact the team email below, or visit the West Midlands Police website and go to your local neighbourhood ‘Bloxwich’ to obtain details for your Designated Neighbourhood Officers.
